Thank you that you're still reading this blog! We were not so frequently posting this year this had multiple reasons some personal and some related to the extrem busy hobby year, so thank you that you are still interested. Painting Update, Italy!

With our tournament done I have some time to do some other projects which were on my to-do list for a long time now. With the upcoming Italy campaign from WWPD and Battlefront I found the motivation to do some Fallschirmjäger which were sitting in a box for a long time. They are far from complete but never the less I wanted to show you the first finished platoons. In addition I finished some Semovente 105/25, Elefants and Panzer 3M for the fighting in Italy.

The Sands of North Africa, British Indian Army, Part 3

My second goal was finished, but during the varnishing happened the disaster: the varnish dried in a milky form and ruined the whole work.  After a few tries to rescue them I decided to decolorize all models and repaint them.

Welcome to a New Year!

The new year is already two weeks old we know, never the less we wish you a happy new year!

We started this blog half a year ago so it seams to be a good moment to take a look back.

The main reason in starting a blog were the many inspiring blogs out there and we needed a place to post the battle reports for wwpd's "Operation Overlord" campaign.

It seams that the reports we posted were enjoyed we even got a feature on the campaign site and two medals (http://swisswargaming.blogspot.ch/2013/07/operation-overlord-german-withdrawal.html).

We finished of the year with a painting project for north africa (http://swisswargaming.blogspot.ch/2013/11/british-iandian-army-part-2.html).

But now it's time to start a new year.
